Prof Sanaa Eissa (Cairo, Egypt), is an Emeritus Professor of Medical Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Ain Shams Faculty of medicine. She is the chair of Egyptian universities promotion committee of medical biochemistry.
Being the principal investigator of several national and international projects and the supervisor of many theses in different universities, Prof Eissaa published over 100 peer reviewed manuscripts in Scopus cited journals with over 3000 citations with H-Index > 28, studying the molecular mechanism of some probiotics and phytochemical extracts to be used as natural therapy in chronic diseases. Also, She is interesting in discovering novel epigenetic- genetic markers for disease progression and malignancy.
Prof Sanaa Eissa is the co-founder and vice president of Ain Shams Accredited Center of Excellence for Biobank, Bioinformatics and Genomic Integrated solution for cancer which provides integrated service for personalized medicine.
